Soloviy graduated from Ivan Franko Lviv National University with a degree in the History of Ukraine. In 2000, he earned a Ph.D. in Religious Studies after defending his dissertation titled \u201cConfessional and Cultural-Educational Activity of the Ukrainian Evangelical-Reformed Church in Western Ukraine (1925\u20131939).\u201d On April 28, 2017, he defended his dissertation for the Doctor Habilitatus (Dr. Hab.) degree in Theology.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-55f84fe\" data-block-id=\"55f84fe\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">From 2015 to the present, he has been the editor-in-chief of the Theological Reflections: Eastern European Journal of Theology.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-3a49ffc\" data-block-id=\"3a49ffc\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Since 2017, he has been an active member of the Ukrainian Christian Academic Society (UCAS).<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-2018b0d\" data-block-id=\"2018b0d\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Since 2018, he has served as the Chief Editor of the Book Series Contemporary Protestant Theology (with Ukrainian publisher \"Duh i Litera\" (eng. Spirit and Letter)).&nbsp;<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-7cb0f5a\" data-block-id=\"7cb0f5a\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Since 2019, he has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Fellowship of European Evangelical Theologians.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-2983a64\" data-block-id=\"2983a64\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Since 2019 he has been a member of the editorial board of the scholarly religious studies journal Religious Freedom.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-18c07a4\" data-block-id=\"18c07a4\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Since 2020, he has been the rector and leading research fellow at the Eastern European Institute of Theology.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-786247d\" data-block-id=\"786247d\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Since 2021, he has served as Regional Editor for Eastern and Central Europe at Langham Publishing.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-041ed00\" data-block-id=\"041ed00\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Since 2022, he has been a member of the Central and Eastern European Association\u00a0for Mission Studies.<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-9d4e3a9\" data-block-id=\"9d4e3a9\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Under Dr. Soloviy\u2019s supervision, three Doctor Habilitatus dissertations in theology have been defended: Sergiy Sannikov, \u201cThe Phenomenon of Water Baptism in the Context of Modern Baptist Sacramentology\u201d (2018); Mykhaylo Mokienko, \u201cPentecostalism: Features of Theological and Social Identification\u201d (2018); Fedir Stryzachuk, \u201cThe Renaissance of the Doctrine of the Trinity in Contemporary Western Theology\u201d (2020). In addition, two Ph.D. dissertations have been completed under his guidance: Anatoliy Denysenko, \u201cLiberation Theology: A Critical Analysis\u201d (2019); Pavlo Shevchuk, \u201cThe Political
