The war continues to bring destruction, suffering, and extraordinary challenges to every area of life in Ukraine, including the church and theological education. Despite these circumstances, and thanks to your unwavering support, we have been able to continue our mission: to develop academic theology in Ukraine and the region, support educational institutions, publish new research, initiate relevant theological projects, and serve those affected by the war. <\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-105c0cb\" data-block-id=\"105c0cb\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">Throughout 2025, we implemented a number of important initiatives, including:<\/p><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-icon-list stk-block-icon-list stk-block stk-e1ce827\" data-block-id=\"e1ce827\"><style>.stk-e1ce827 .stk-block-icon-list-item__content{gap:15px !important;align-items:baseline !important;}.stk-e1ce827 ul, .stk-e1ce827 ol{padding-left:30px !important;}.stk-e1ce827 {--stk-icon-list-marker-color:var(--theme-palette-color-4, #0a0500) !important;--stk-icon-list-icon-size:8px !important;}<\/style><svg style=\"display:none\"><defs><g id=\"stk-icon-list__icon-svg-def-e1ce827\"><svg xmlns=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/2000\/svg\" viewbox=\"0 0 512 512\"><path d=\"M256 8C119 8 8 119 8 256s111 248 248 248 248-111 248-248S393 8 256 8z\"\/><\/svg><\/g><\/defs><\/svg><ul class=\"stk-block-icon-list__ul stk-block-icon-list--column\">\n<li class=\"wp-block-stackable-icon-list-item stk-block-icon-list-item stk-block stk-2fd80cd\" data-block-id=\"2fd80cd\"><div class=\"stk-block-icon-list-item__content\"><span class=\"stk--svg-wrapper\"><div class=\"stk--inner-svg\"><svg aria-hidden=\"true\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\"><use xlink:href=\"#stk-icon-list__icon-svg-def-e1ce827\"><\/use><\/svg><\/div><\/span><span class=\"stk-block-icon-list-item__text\">two books by Ukrainian Christians reflecting on the war were published:\u00a0<em>Beatitudes and Terror: A Ukrainian Theological Response to Russian Aggression<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Light in the Valley of the Shadow of Death. Stories of Ukrainian Christians During the War<\/em>. <a href=\"https:\/\/eeit-edu.info\/en\/two-ukrainian-books-on-faith-in-wartime-in-english\/\">Both books were published in Ukrainian and English<\/a>;<\/span><\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-stackable-icon-list-item stk-block-icon-list-item stk-block stk-4e297a8\" data-block-id=\"4e297a8\"><div class=\"stk-block-icon-list-item__content\"><span class=\"stk--svg-wrapper\"><div class=\"stk--inner-svg\"><svg aria-hidden=\"true\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\"><use xlink:href=\"#stk-icon-list__icon-svg-def-e1ce827\"><\/use><\/svg><\/div><\/span><span class=\"stk-block-icon-list-item__text\">a series of educational seminars for early-career researchers was held as part of the project \u201cFoundations of Academic Literacy.\u201d In addition, the project included a final session in the methodological seminar series \u201cPublic Theology in the Context of Overcoming the Totalitarian Past,\u201d as well as several open lectures delivered by leading theologians.<\/span><\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-stackable-icon-list-item stk-block-icon-list-item stk-block stk-3acc3e1\" data-block-id=\"3acc3e1\"><div class=\"stk-block-icon-list-item__content\"><span class=\"stk--svg-wrapper\"><div class=\"stk--inner-svg\"><svg aria-hidden=\"true\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\"><use xlink:href=\"#stk-icon-list__icon-svg-def-e1ce827\"><\/use><\/svg><\/div><\/span><span class=\"stk-block-icon-list-item__text\">the fourth Summer School of Theology 2025 was organized on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/eeit-edu.info\/en\/sst\/summer-session-2025\/\">\"World with Broken Borders: Theological Perspectives on Displacement and Diasporas\"<\/a>, bringing together 16 speakers and over 300 participants from 50 countries around the world;<\/span><\/div><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"wp-block-stackable-icon-list-item stk-block-icon-list-item stk-block stk-9a60aa7\" data-block-id=\"9a60aa7\"><div class=\"stk-block-icon-list-item__content\"><span class=\"stk--svg-wrapper\"><div class=\"stk--inner-svg\"><svg aria-hidden=\"true\" width=\"32\" height=\"32\"><use xlink:href=\"#stk-icon-list__icon-svg-def-e1ce827\"><\/use><\/svg><\/div><\/span><span class=\"stk-block-icon-list-item__text\">we published two issues of\u00a0<em>Theological Reflections: Eastern European Journal of Theology<\/em>:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/reflections.eeit-edu.info\/issue\/view\/20078\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\"Theology of Migration and Diaspora\"<\/a>\u00a0(new issue) and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/reflections.eeit-edu.info\/issue\/view\/19323\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\"Theology of Memory in the Context of Experiencing Trauma and Collective Violence\"<\/a>.<\/span><\/div><\/li>\n<\/ul><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-stackable-text stk-block-text stk-block stk-2841e30\" data-block-id=\"2841e30\"><p class=\"stk-block-text__text\">We are deeply grateful that you have walked alongside us through this challenging year.
