Journal Theological Reflections invites submission to the Next Issue 21.1

Dear colleagues, Theological Reflections: Eastern European Journal of Theology invites you to publish in Issue 21.1 (2023) articles on the theological and praxeological aspects of the church’s mission in times of war.

The editorial board invites authors to focus on the following topics:

  • Theological approaches to war and peace, their biblical origins, as well as local efforts to understand them
  • The role of the religious factor in the Russian-Ukrainian war
  • The use of biblical texts, images, and metaphors by supporters of war and peace
  • Security, violence and vulnerability from a biblical perspective
  • Biblical theology of reconciliation and restorative justice
  • Social responsibility of the church in the context of military conflict
  • Theological reflection on the experience of providing spiritual, psychological, and social support to war victims
  • Features of Christian liturgical practices during the war
  • War and the shaping of the outlines of a new public theology of the evangelical churches of Ukraine

The deadline for submission of materials is March 15, 2023. The publication date is May 15, 2023.
