Projects You Can Support Today

Summer School of Theology 2026

The Summer School of Theology is an annual conference that brings together theologians, philosophers, religious studies scholars, artists, and psychologists from around the world to discuss issues relevant to both the Eastern European region — particularly those arising from the Russian-Ukrainian war — and the broader global context. The overall topic of the 2026 Summer School is “Theological Imagination: Resisting Systems of Oppression, Injustice, and Violence.” You can learn more about the project here.

We want to make the world’s best theological discussions accessible to a Ukrainian audience. That is why all English-language lectures are provided with simultaneous interpretation into Ukrainian. Your support will help ensure high-quality interpretation and make the lecture's content accessible to a wider audience. Fundraising goal for 2026: $1,000.00.

Theological Reflections: Eastern European Journal of Theology

Theological Reflections: Eastern European Journal of Theology is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal founded as a forum for open discussion of current theological issues, especially, but not exclusively, concerning the Evangelical Protestant tradition in Central and Eastern Europe. The journal publishes original scholarly research in biblical studies, systematic theology, historical theology, practical theology, missiology, public and political theology, ecumenical studies, and related fields. Published twice a year in print and digital formats. The theme of the Fall 2026 issue is “The Role of Christian Imagination in Resisting Injustice and Violence.”

We are raising funds for the editing, designing, and printing of this journal issue. Your support contributes to the development of academic theology in the region. Our fundraising goal by the end of 2026 is $1,000.00.

The Book Disability: Living into the Diversity of Christ’s Body

EEIT and Odesa Theological Seminary are preparing a Ukrainian translation of a book by a renowned theologian and a leading figure in the field of disability theology, Brian Brock, Disability: Living into the Diversity of Christ’s Body (“Pastoring for Life: Theological Wisdom for Ministering Well”). In this book, he reflects on the challenge of disability, refuting widely held misconceptions and helping readers respond well to the pastoral implications of disability. He shows pastors and ministers-in-training that thinking more closely and theologically about disability is a doorway into a more vibrant and welcoming church life for all Christians.

We are raising funds for the translation, editing, designing, and printing of this book. Your support will make this book available to Ukrainian Christian communities, which today need high-quality resources to minister to people with disabilities. Fundraising goal by the end of 2026: $2,000.00.

The Book Pastoral Ministry During Wartime: The Ukrainian Experience

The war has radically transformed the ministry of Ukrainian pastors and churches. Alongside traditional pastoral care, they face new challenges every day: chaplaincy, supporting the families of the fallen, working with people who have experienced loss and trauma, and forming new church communities in the midst of war. This book brings together the experiences of nearly 20 Ukrainian authors — pastors, church ministry leaders, and theologians — who reflect on how the war is transforming church life and giving rise to new approaches to ministry. The book will not only document this unique experience but will also serve as a practical resource for churches, ministers, and theological education in Ukraine and beyond.

We are raising funds for the editing, designing, and printing of this book. Your support will help preserve this experience for future generations and make it accessible to those seeking answers to wartime challenges. Fundraising goal by the end of 2026: $2,000.00.
