Main research interests: historical theology.
Rostislav received a Bachelor of Theology degree from Donetsk Christian University (Donetsk, Ukraine), and a Master of Theology and Religious Studies degree, with high honors, from Evangelical Theologische Faculteit (Leuven, Belgium) majoring in medieval theology. In 2019, he defended a dissertation entitled “Peter Lombard’s Philosophical Theology [God’s Knowledge, Power, and Will in the First Book of Sentences]” at National Pedagogical Dragomanov University(Kyiv, Ukraine), and obtained a candidate (Ph.D. equivalent) degree. Currently, he continues his doctoral studies in Evangelical Theologische Faculteit (Leuven, Belgium) and does research in medieval scholastic theology. Rostislav worked as Instructor of Historical and Systematic Theology at Donetsk Christian University, and Assistant Professor of Systematic Theology and Critical Thinking at Odessa Theological Seminary (Odessa, Ukraine). Also, he lectured as guest professor in Lviv Theological Seminary, Kiev Theological Seminary, and other Ukrainian theological schools. At the moment, he is Affiliated Researcher in Historical Theology at Evangelical Theologische Faculteit, Leuven.
