Foundations of Academic Literacy: Five Tips for Improving Your Academic Research and Writing

The Eastern European Institute of Theology invites everyone to the twelfth seminar in the series “Foundations of Academic Literacy for Authors of Theological Texts,” which will take place on April 10 at 7:00 p.m. Kyiv time online. This time, we’ll be joined by Nijay Gupta — a renowned theologian, New Testament scholar, and author of numerous books, including The Writer: A Guide to Research, Writing, and Publishing in Biblical Studies.
Seminar title: "Five Tips for Improving Your Academic Research and Writing." During the seminar, Dr. Gupta will look at the research process and offer advice from his experience, where he has honed his approach to become more efficient, more organized, and more effective in scholarship.
Nijay Gupta
Dr. Nijay K. Gupta (PhD, Durham) serves as Julius R. Mantey Professor of New Testament at Northern Seminary. His publications include Paul and the Language of Faith (Eerdmans), The Affections of Christ Jesus (Eerdmans), and commentaries on Galatians, Philippians, Colossians, and 1–2 Thessalonians. Gupta co-founded the Journal for the Study of Paul and His Letters, served as chief editor of the Bulletin for Biblical Research, and currently serves on the board of Journal for the Study of the New Testament. He is also co-editor of the Dictionary of Paul and His Letters (2nd ed.; IVP Academic), The State of New Testament Studies (Baker Academic), and The State of Pauline Studies (Baker Academic).
