Foundations of Academic Literacy: How to Write an Article for a Peer-Reviewed Publication?

The Eastern European Institute of Theology invites you to the ninth seminar in the series ‘’Foundations of Academic Literacy for Authors of Theological Texts‘’. The seminar will take place on 9 June at 17:00 Kyiv time online (Zoom). The title of the seminar: "How to Write an Article for a Peer-Reviewed Publication?"

In this seminar, together with our speaker, Estonian theologian Toivo Pilli, we will discuss how to write quality articles for peer reviewed journals: how to plan the writing process, why argumentation is important, and how the publication process can be not only hard work but also an enjoyable project. In addition, Dr Pilli will share tips that can make this difficult process of writing texts and processing the recommendations and conclusions of reviewers easier.

Toivo Pilli is Professor of Free Church Identity and History at the Estonian Free Church Theological Seminary and Director of Baptist Studies at the International Baptist Theological Study Centre Amsterdam.
