Foundations of Academic Literacy: Contributing to Academic Journals
Eastern European Institute of Theology continues the series of seminars "Foundations of Academic Literacy for Authors of Theological Texts." The 8th seminar "Contributing to Academic Journals: Writing and Reviewing" will take place on June 28 at 6 pm (Kyiv time) (Zoom).
In this seminar, Prof. Kevin Lawson will explore three different ways of contributing to academic professional journals: writing and submitting articles, reviewing books and other resources, and serving as a peer reviewer of articles under review.
Kevin E. Lawson
Global Affiliate Professor of Educational Studies, Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, La Mirada, California, USA. Former full-professor (1995-2021), Director of the PhD and EdD programs in Educational Studies (1999-2017). For 11 years, Lawson served on church staffs as a minister of Christian education. He holds degrees in Christian education, biblical studies and educational administration, and carries out research on local church educational ministry, church staff issues, theological and historical foundations of Christian education, children’s spiritual formation, and other related topics. Lawson teaches on the historical foundations of Christian education, leadership issues and educational research methods, and does ministry consultation.
